Gabriel Sama is the founder of Rest of the World Media, a consulting firm that helps media companies around the world transition to digital platforms. Sama graduated in 2000 from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism and was a Knight fellow at Stanford in 2010. In 2001, he joined The Wall Street Journal Americas and in 2004 was the founding editor for the Rumbo chain of Spanish-language newspapers in Texas. Since 2006, Sama has worked as an editorial consultant in places like Dubai, Greece, Mexico, Chile, Russia and El Salvador. He currently heads the Mexican chapter of Hacks and Hackers.
