Valentina Powers is the Director of Digital Operations at New York Public Radio, where she oversees the daily operations of the Digital team, including Project Management, Analytics and Quality Assurance. During her tenure in the digital department, Valentina has managed the development and deployment of multiple digital products, including website launches and redesigns of WNYC.org, WQXR.org, Radiolab.org, Studio360.org, OnTheMedia.org, thegreenespace.org and TheTakeaway.org She also oversaw the migration to a new CMS platform, the development of six mobile apps including Radiolab, WNYC and WQXR, the development of the pledge application and a crowdsourcing application. In the last year, Valentina trained in Agile Project Management and SCRUM, and has since implemented Agile techniques in the workflow of the digital department as well as helped socialize Agile throughout the organization.
